First Day Of Kindergarten!!!

Well today was 'the best day of my life!' according to Mia! hahahaha. She was so excited to go to school this morning! Look how sweet she looks in all her gear! =] Her teacher this year is Mrs. Ruble and what Mia looks forward to most is making friends, eating lunch, and learning to read! =] So excited for her on this new adventure!

Preschool Graduation...

Time is flying by so fast... =] Mia is a preschool graduate! She will officially be in Kindergarten this fall! She is soooooo excited to be at 'the BIG KID school'!! This year was a great one full of friends and learning new skills. She has learned to tie her shoes and loves trying to read- we're not there yet, but she will tell you everything that's going on in the picture-embellished of course! It's always so cute to see all of the kids dressed up! What a fun day!

Disney Spring Break...

We love Disney!! We were so happy to make this trip to the parks for spring break! We opened the parks and shut them down! =] Mia just couldn't make it back to the hotel.... lol look at her poor nose... ;) We of course had to visit her favorite Princess- ARIEL!!!

Random 2009...

It has been a while since we posted, so i wanted to just put a few pics up from 2009! Mia is growing and getting so smart. She loves meeting new friends and being with her family. She has tons of energy and likes to learn new skills. =] She loves going to the children's museum and the zoo. She told me for Halloween she wanted to be a scary witch... we opted for the tamer pumpkin witch....lol. And I totally caved when she asked for black lipstick... =] We just cant believe how fast time is flying by and how much everyone has grown. Our family is wonderful and we are so blessed!

New Haircut...

Doesn't Mia just look sooooo dang cute with her new 'BIG GIRL' haircut?!? We have been discussing cutting her hair for a few weeks now. It has been a huge source of contention in the morning as we are getting ready and she has not been liking all of the static that builds up in her hair this time of year. It sticks to her face and gets in her mouth. So, tonight I gave her a haircut. She told me that, 'I only want big girl haircut mommy'. So this is what we came up with. :0) She loves it and I think it looks really cute! Let me know what you think. She has been flipping it around all night! lol.

We had our family picture redone for our family room. I am excited to have a wall portrait with out complete family in it! Our last one was done just before our adoption process began! ;) Mia also was ready to have a new pic done. We did not like her preshool pic. So, here is what we got for her...
